Most Anticipated Books from February to August 2018

Hello everyone,
I'm a little LOT late with my most anticipated reads in the first half of 2018. I meant to post it sooner and I couldn't find the time to put it together. Then, the Olympics happened and I'm just trash for the Olympics so it's consumed my life the last week. But, between commercials, I've managed to finally list SOME of my most anticipated reads of 2018. So, without further ado...

Here are my most anticipated YA and romance titles from late February to August.

YA

  

Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi (out 3/6): I really enjoyed the Shatter Me series as a whole and I thought it was over and then this book was announced. I already pre-ordered it. I can't wait to spend more time with Warner and Juliette.

Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett (out 4/3): This sounds like my kind of cutesy contemporary YA. Best-friends-turned-enemies get stranded in the wilderness. Hidden feelings and secrets get revealed as they try to find their way back. YASSS please!

  

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi (out 3/6): There's so much hype for this West African-inspired fantasy debut and I'm so ready for it. 

Sweet Black Waves by Kristina Perez (out 6/5): Based on the Tristan and Eseult story but told through Eseult's best friend and lady-in-waiting. The story involves warring countries, family secrets, and forbidden romance--everything I love in a fantasy.

  

Bring Me Their Hearts by Sara Wolf (out 6/5): A badass-sounding heroine tasked to steal a prince's literal heart. This sounds like a YA fantasy novel that I can really sink my teeth into.

City of Bastards by Andrew Shvarts (out 6/5): I really enjoyed Royal Bastards (my review) and it ended in somewhat of a cliffhanger and I'm dying to find out what happens next.

Graphic Novels

  

Giant Days Vol. 7 by John Allison et. al. (out 3/27): I'm obsessed with this graphic novel series. OBSESSED.

Spill Zone: The Broken Vow by Scott Westerfeld and Alex Puvilland (out 7/10): The first book in the series completely surprised me with how much I ended up loving it (my review). I'm so excited to see what happens next. I have so many questions.

Romance

  

Wicked and the Wallflower by Sarah MacLean (out 6/19): Anything by historical romance queen is guaranteed to be an excellent read.

The Sins of Lord Lockwood by Meredith Duran (out 2/27): Meredith Duran is one of my favorite historical romance writers because she creates and puts together the most unique characters and story line. She can do no wrong in my eyes.

  

Come As You Are (out 4/16) & Part-Time Lover (out 6/4) by Lauren Blakely: I don't know how Lauren Blakely can release a new book every other month, but I always look forward to her fun, swoon-y love stories with characters you wish are your best friends. These are just two of her 2018 books, but I always anticipate whatever she comes out with.

  

The Argument by Pepper Winters (out sometime in 2018): Last year I read Pepper Winters's Truth & Lies duology (my first ever reads by her) and I absolutely loved it. This new series doesn't have an official release date but I'm hoping it'll come out in the early part of the year. 🤞🤞

When a Duke Loves a Woman by Lorraine Heath (out 8/21): I started the year with Beyond Scandal and Desire, the first book in Lorraine Heath's newest historical romance series and I can't wait to read this one. Just like Meredith Duran, Lorraine Heath is one of my favorite historical romance author. She can do no wrong!

  

All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover (out 7/17): I admit it, I'm not a big fan of Colleen Hoover. I only read one book full novel by her and I wasn't a fan. But, this one features a married couple, which I'm a sucker for because it just brings a different kind of tension and drama.

Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren (out 4/10): I love Christina Lauren's romance books even though their books have become less steamier the last few years. I can't wait to get my hands on this second-chance/friends-to-lovers romance.
